           Pilates Mat Intro

 

If you have never taken Pilates or have not been in a Pilates class in a while thenthis is the class for you!  This class will focus on the Pilates Principles: concentration, centering, control, flow, breath, and precision.  Using these principles you will learn basic techniques to help strength and guide you toward more challenging Pilates exercises.  

           Pilates Mat Intermediate 

This class will not be for a beginning Pilates student.  This class will incorporate the Pilates Principles with intermediate to advanced Pilates exercises.  Look forward to moving through Pilates exercises fluidily and working up a good sweat!

           Core Challenge 

 

If you are looking for a class to challenge your core and create the summer toned look you are aspiring toward you've came to the right place.  We will focus on toning, and tightening your core, and will throw in some good booty and thigh exercises to give you toning in those hard tighten areas.  

           Dancer's Pilates 

 

Dancer's Pilates is a classes designed for dancer's who are wanting to strengthen and condition their bodies for their art form.  This class will focus on simultaneously increasing flexibility and strength.  This class will focus on improving a dancer's extension, balance, and strength.  This is a class no dancer will want to miss!  

           Stretch & Relax

 

Stretch & Relax will be a class to help wind down after a busy weekend and prepare your mind, body, and soul for the upcoming work week.  This class will help align your spine and improve your posture by working on core strength and lenghtening exercises.

           Private Reformer 

 

Private Reformer classes will be designed specifically for the client.  The reformer is a great machine to help aid in strenth, control, and coordination.  The reformer is great for clients wanting to improve skills in sports such as golf, tennis, and basketball etc.  Reformer classes are also designed to challenge dancers.  Students looking to improve pointe work can bring their pointe shoes and they can be used on the reformer in strengthening exercises.  Pilates Reformer classes can be focused on any area that the client is wanting to improve upon.  

Vinyasa Yoga

This slow moving yoga class provides the underlying basics of a vinyasa practice. Vinyasa is a method of practicing asana (physical poses), where the asanas are presented in a sequence, flowing one to the next. The practice focuses on aligning one’s breath and spiritual intention with movement. The class follows a set sequence of asanas but is presented at a slower, more relaxed pace than the normal.  There is a minimal focus on basic alignment, the main emphasis being on breathing while holding asanas as well as on transitioning into and out of asanas gracefully and safely.This class is suitable for beginners and Seniors, but open to all levels of practitioner.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is an urban dance style, with historical connections to 1970s Jazz Funk and Street Jazz. This class will cover the basics of the style, including popping, breaking and freezing. Students will also be encouraged to find their own style and personality. Hip Hop is a very high energy dance style, so upper and lower body conditioning will also be included.

Level 1 - Ages 8 through 11

Level 2 - Ages 12 and up 

Zumba

Known as an “exercise in disguise,” Zumba is a Colombian inspired cardio class that can be modified to everyone's needs. This class will serve as a total body workout, incorporating cardio dance, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, set to high energy Latin and Pop music. It is possible to burn between 500 and 1000 calories per hour! Most importantly, you’ll have fun!
